When the Holy Spirit comes to us, in our new birth, he comes to stay. He does not comes as a guest to check in and check out. But he will stay within us, and our hearts become his residency. He will lead us, guide us, and will be with us always in all of our walks on this planet earth. Our hearts become his home….
The world cannot understand or receive the Spirit, because He is Holy and true. He is called the Spirit of truth. This is not popular in an age of lies. The world will not be able to perceive the Holy Spirit, because it does not know Him.
Spurgeon says, “Between Christ on earth and his disciples what a distance there was! In his condescension he came very near to them; but yet you always perceive a gulf between the wise Master and the foolish disciples. Now the Holy Ghost annihilates that distance by dwelling in us.”[iii]
Apostle Paul warned us not to be ignorant of the work of the Lord, by the power of the Holy Spirt. Jesus breathed the second time and parted the Holy Spirit when He ascended to heaven.
And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Jn. 20: 22.

Words of Jesus some what mysterious, and the disciples did not understand then! There is a spiritual world outside, and also within us. The word of God gives insight into what is happening in the spiritual world outside and within us. Now, let us think about what God’s word says about “quickeneth “. It is impossible to understand, the structure of the Church without the Person and the work of the Lord, the Holy Spirit.
